ABOUT US
ABOUT US

Who We Are
Established in 2022 with headquarters in Singapore, Cyan Renewables is Asia's pioneer in global offshore wind vessel operations, dedicated to creating sustainable long-term value for our stakeholders and supporting the marine sector’s transition from “blue to green”.
Built on the strong foundation of a highly experienced team led by industry veterans, Cyan Renewables aspires to accelerate the growth of the global offshore wind sector by investing in a specialised fleet of wind farm support vessels to facilitate the full lifecycle of offshore wind projects from installation to operations and maintenance (O&M). We deliver efficient, reliable, best-in-class services to our clients by integrating innovative designs and solutions with safety (for the people and the environment) and clients’ needs in mind.
By striving to become the partner of choice to both wind farm developers and vessel operators worldwide, Cyan Renewables aims to be the world’s leading “blue to green” marine operator, advancing the global transition towards a greener future built on sustainable renewable energy.
Fully backed by Seraya Partners, an independent private equity firm based in Singapore, specialising in next-generation infrastructure investments across Asia, Cyan Renewables is a trusted CapEx (Capital Expenditure) partner for offshore wind vessel operators as well, providing a wide range of financing solutions for them to grow incrementally without front-loading their equity into vessel newbuilding. Our principal investment strategy is to invest directly, wholly or partially, in a diversified portfolio of sustainable long-term value-accretive wind farm support vessels which will bolster the supply chain to support the rapid development, construction, and maintenance of offshore wind projects across Asia and Europe, accelerating the global green energy transition.

Health & Safety
Target 365
Cyan's operations are underpinned by our Target 365 culture, an in-house developed strategy to deliver ‘a Perfect Day, Every Day’ and is our shared belief that an incident-free workplace is possible.
Launched in 2012, Cyan's Target 365 strategy focuses on everyone coming to work each day with the aim of having a “Perfect Day”, that is, a day free of recordable injuries and illnesses or material incidents.
The strategy has created a genuine safety culture and consciousness at Cyan – a culture that drives our world class safety performance.
Fundamental to the Target 365 programme:
Developed in-house – ensuring employee engagement at all levels within the organisation.
Transparent information – all information relating to Target 365, incidents and performance is readily available and communicated to all staff across a number of communications channels.
Target 365 Quarterly Safety Awards – award winners are recognised across a number of focus areas and variety of activities, including:
Outstanding safety performance / behaviour
Safety improvement initiative
Development of improved operational processes focusing on risk mitigation and safety management
Target 365 Leadership Engagement Programme – supported by in-house training and coaching aimed at empowering leaders to conduct active leadership engagements.
Perfect Days are tracked and communicated to all staff including offshore personnel via the Company’s intranet system on a perfect day dashboard.
Critical Controls
Above all else, Cyan's Target 365 Critical Controls keep our employees, contractors, visitors and clients safe.
Cyan's Target 365 Critical Controls focus on the eight highest risk activities across the business and promotes awareness of the key controls required to prevent serious injury or damage to the environment, providing a succinct summary of our operating standards and mandatory requirements for health, safety and environment in everything we do at Cyan.
The Critical Controls were formed using a collaborative approach in consultation with Cyan personnel across our global operating regions and have been subject to periodic review to ensure they remain relevant and aligned with industry best practice. The eight Target 365 Critical Controls are fundamental in eliminating incidents that have the potential to cause serious harm to people and the environment whilst undertaking high-risk activities.
These fundamentals apply equally to all Critical Controls:
We are all accountable for our own safety and the safety of others
We always follow the rules, standards and procedures
We always consider alternatives to eliminate the need for high-risk activities
Everyone is appropriately trained, competent and fit for work
Tools and equipment are to be used for their designed purpose
Everyone has the obligation to stop unsafe work
We always manage Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) in all activity planning

The health and safety of our employees, contractors, visitors and clients is core to the way we do business.
Sustainability
Sustainability is integral to our overall strategy to grow the business sustainably into the future

Cyan's core purpose to “support the world's transition to a greener future” drives our strategic direction as we continue to transform our business along with the global energy transition.
Whilst our traditional markets of oil and gas will continue to be an important revenue source for the business for some time, we are focused on diversifying our revenue streams into sectors which support the energy transition such as offshore wind along with other adjacent marine markets such as government and defence and environmental services.
We are also looking at strategies to reduce our emissions including emerging technologies and innovations to address industry wide challenges.
Cyan's key ESG initiatives are aligned with several of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which address the key challenges currently faced globally. Cyan is focused on Goals 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13 and 14 which are the most relevant to our operations.
Cyan's ESG strategy is focused on the following key elements:
Environment – how Cyan performs as a steward of nature.
Social – how Cyan manages its relationships with employees, suppliers, customers and the community.
Governance – how Cyan is governed.
