About us
Cyan Renewables is a leading international maritime operator, dedicated to supporting the global offshore wind industry and the world’s transition towards a greener future.
Trusted Capex Partner for Offshore Wind Vessels Operators
With a collective goal towards accelerating green energy transition, Cyan believes that this can only be achieved through collaborative effort amongst offshore wind vessels operators. As a trusted CAPEX partner of choice, we aimed to provide the support needed for offshore wind vessels operators to grow incrementally without front loading their equity into newbuilding (eg. CLV, SOV or WTIV). Our principal investment strategy is investing directly, wholly or partially, in a diversified portfolio of sustainable long-term value-accretive wind farm support vessels.
Launch pad for our partners into hard-to-abate offshore wind markets
With our years of experience operating offshore vessels in countries with strong local content, Cyan has the local know-how to open doors for our partners. We are able to provide the necessary platform, consultancy services, facilitation and interfacing with the local parties, thereby reducing operating risks for our partners.

Cable-Lay Vessels
Cable-lay Vessels (CLV) is designed to meet the varying requirements of a cablelay operation for offshore wind farms, from the initial load-out at the cable manufacturer to the burial of the cable into the seabed.
Service Operation Vessels
Service Operation Vessels (SOV) serve as means of transport, and also as a hotel, a warehouse and a workshop. SOVs loiter and operate as in-field accommodations for workers and as platform assist for wind turbine servicing and repair work. It transports equipment and technicians to and from the turbines within a farm. The vessel can stay at the wind farms for several weeks at a time and has a hydraulic walk-to-work gangway system that allows safe transfer of personnel and equipment to the turbines.
Wind Turbine Installation Vessels
Wind Turbine Installation Vessels (WTIV) are designed to operate in harsh conditions and has the ability to transport, service and install offshore foundations and wind turbines.
Our Services
FISHERY & ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Our specialised fleet of Emergency Response and Rescue Vessels (ERRVs) is well-equipped with a comprehensive range of capabilities to assist in fishery inspections and react efficiently towards environmental emergencies. With a team of experienced crew members, we work closely with regulatory bodies and fisheries authorities to play a significant role in safeguarding the integrity of the marine environment, facilitating sustainable fisheries management and encouraging responsible fishing practices.
INSTALLATION VESSELS
Our installation division is poised to support the fixed-bottom offshore wind industry’s need for larger turbines and larger foundations with our next-generation offshore wind installation vessels, which include:
Newbuild Wind Turbine Installation Vessels (WTIVs) that can help to install in deeper waters, lift heavier components, and carry more turbine sets than any existing vessels;
Floating Foundation Installation Vessels (FFIVs) that feature groundbreaking innovations in crane design, propulsion systems, and component handling equipment.
OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE VESSELS (O&M)
Our O&M division covers the full range of offshore wind O&M requirements with our purpose-built Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs) and Service Operation Vessels (SOVs), each specially designed for maintenance activities, such as a unique SWATH (Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull) design for SOVs that makes them compact, flexible yet stable, and JU barges with large open work deck and ample crane capacity to support major component replacements on installed wind turbine generators (WTGs).
